Grant Application 

The purpose of Wyandot County Community Foundation Grant Program is to support organizations that significantly and efficiently meet the educational, cultural, health, social service, recreational and economics development needs of Wyandot County, regardless of gender, race, color or creed. WCCF's Board of Trustees awards grants annually.  

 

To be eligible for funding consideration by WCCF's Grant Program, organizations must be a 501(c) (3), as determined by the Internal Revenue Service, or a unit of government such as a county, city, township or public school board. Funding from WCCF's Grant Program is limited to organizations operating and/or serving residents of Wyandot County area. The Foundation considers grant requests annually. The deadline for receipt of applications to the Foundation is July 23rd of the current year.

Attach a copy of a current IRS determination letter indicating 501(c)(3) status or a written statement from a local or state auditor verifying applicant is a government entity and a list of names and affiliations of the applicant organization's Board of Trustees.

The Wyandot County Community Foundation has awarded grants since 2013.  As of the 2024, $158,137.41 has funded 108 grants to 53 different Wyandot County nonprofits and governmental units. Grants range from $200 to $4000. 

 

Thanks to the generosity of donors, the Foundation established a Community Needs Grant Fund in 2014.  Get involved, become a partner by supporting the community needs grant fund.
