Grants Overview
The purpose of the Wyandot County Community Foundation Grants Program is to support organizations that significantly and efficiently meet the educational, cultural, health, social service, recreational and economics development needs of Wyandot County, regardless of gender, race, color or creed. The WCCF Board awards grants annually.
To be eligible for funding consideration by the WCCF Grants Program, organizations must be a 501(c) (3), as determined by the Internal Revenue Service, or a unit of government such as a county, city, township or public school board. Funding from the WCCF Grants Program is limited to organizations operating and/or serving residents of Wyandot County area. The Foundation considers grant requests annually. The deadline for receipt of applications to the Foundation is July 24 of the current year. Submit applications by mailing to WCCFoundation, P.O. The Wyandot County Community Foundation has awarded grants since 2013. As of the 2023, $118,201.00 has funded 85 grants to 36 different Wyandot County nonprofits and governmental units. Grants range from $200 to $3000.
Thanks to the generosity of donors, the Foundation established a Community Needs Grant Fund in 2014. Get involved, become a partner by supporting the community needs grant fund.
